In an act of kindness, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer was recorded on a phone feeding what appeared to be a very malnourished woman a Dorito chip. The camera showed a woman kneeling before Whitmer wearing what appeared to be baggy older clothing that was hanging off of her as if she'd lost a lot of weight.
Whitmer placed the chip very slowly into the grateful woman's mouth who then looked up and smiled pleasantly at the Governor. It was apparent by the very grateful look on the homeless Woman's face that she was appreciative of the chip.
The camera then pans to the Governer looking into the camera with a serious scowl as if to convey how serious that feeding the homeless is to her.
Social media didn't hold back from launching attack after attack against the Governor, criticizing her for feeding the homeless in front of a business because then you can't get them to leave. Other commented on the "piles of homeless poop" they leave behind when two or more signal the flock to come and eat with them. "Homeless droppings are everywhere and it's really hard to clean off" one local business owner said.
The Governor's office, when reached out to by us, responded by saying; "The Governor isn't currently in because she's still feeding that same homeless woman."
Edit: As of 2:30pm CST "Doritos" has officially reached out to offer Governor Whitmer a brand deal.
